Traditional food in Panama Map | drinking coffee, eating arepas

A map exploring some of the traditional foods and drinks of Panama. If you would like to buy a print of the map click on the image and it will bring you to my Etsy shop.

Recently I noticed a new Latin American street food place has opened up so an easy win on my challenge to eat my way around the world and all that.

This is an arepa which is from Colombia and Venezuela, but as I’ve done them I’m saying it’s for Panama.
This was filled with rice, beans and plantains with some feta.
There is something that reminds me of Findus crispy pancakes…or potato bread? Like the arepa is made from corn.

I’m just waffling now as I don’t want to go out in the rain, it’s tipping down!
