Food in Indonesia | nasi goreng

Lunch o’clock!
I’d left over rice from last night so thought I’d have another go at nasi goreng, this time with a different recipe. Then I can chalk off Indonesia as well….result!

This recipe didn’t use kecap manis or shrimp paste like the last one, it used tomato ketchup and things like carrots and mushrooms…so easier to do if there is no Asian food shop around and simpler to make…but I preferred the taste of the last one.
What I like about nasi goreng is that I can get things like cucumbers and carrots down me, not a huge fan of the ‘cumber but it’s nice with this.

Sorry these posts are probably boring, I’m using them to keep track of what I have and haven’t done.
