My attempt at Sheer birinj, a milky pudding from Afghanistan.. basically rice pudding with a bit of rosewater and some cardamon.
Unfortunately this is slightly tasting of burnt milk as I’m lazy and don’t keep an eye on things.
I’ve been thinking I need a little project to get me through the winter, so I’m going try cooking my way around the world.
I’ve wanted to do this for years but never got around to it…so we’ll see how we get on!
I’ll maybe start adapting my world maps to include the dish I’ve just cooked.
