Mohnstrudel | Austrian poppy seed roll


Austria next cooking around the world and this is an attempt at mohnstrudel, a poppy seed roll.
As per usual this isn’t quite right as I had only 20g of poppy seeds instead of 100g and couldn’t be bothered going to the shop (a common theme!)

So another variation gave raisins, ground almond,. cinnamon so that’s how I rolled (with the 20g poppy seed)….
It says to leave this a few days as well…maybe I will, maybe I won’t…this is not a million miles from stollen.
