Labneh | yoghurt cheese popular over the Middle East

Time to get back on the ‘cook around the world’ project and maybe try to get it finished this year.

This is a go at ‘labneh’, which is basically like strained Greek yogurt… Greek yogurt in a cloth and colander and let drain overnight. Now it’s the consistency of soft cheese.

I think this would be really nice using full fat Greek yogurt and bit more mint and salt whipped in, I only had the no fat version in the fridge.
Will make again and report back …apparently labneh is popular all over the Middle East so I’m going to put it down for Kuwait.
