I spotted this recipe in an old 70s Penguin Jamaica recipe book last night and thought ‘Oh, that sounds a bit weird,.is that really a ‘thing?”
…and it did seem to be a thing… so here it is, made and looking like dishwater, probably as I didn’t make it right and can’t take a good photo.
It’s actually not bad, there is condensed milk in there as well so it’s a slight Bailey’s vibe (if you use your imagination)….I’d say when made by someone who knows what they’re doing it would be 👍
