Monthly Wee-Payments?

Hello!

First up, thanks so much for taking the time to read this. I really appreciate it!
I’ve had it in my head for a while now that I’d like to do some sort of pay in installments thing, a sort Monthly Wee-payment scheme…. There are other words as I suppose, like membership or subscription.

I was going to try this a few years ago, but didn’t really push it at the time as I wasn’t sure what I was doing.. (One kind person did sign up at time and it meant so much, so thanks to them!)

Anyway, there are a few reasons why I’m drawn to this idea.

Firstly, I am tired of have having to rely on companies like Instagram (Meta), Google, Etsy.
I want to use my energy to try and be an artist or to make music, but every year it feels like you have to devote more and more of that energy to getting found on a search engine which increasingly I don’t have.

Maybe it’s a similar idea to a small organic farmer having to do business with Tesco? The might want to sell to customers directly and have some sort of relationship with them instead of having Tesco insert themselves as a middleman between.

Secondly, the threat of AI. I know this seems like the realm of sci-fi to some, but to others it seems like some sort of existential threat that is already here….the last year or two things like AI art, music have taken off. Online search is changing.
I don’t want my art or music to be used to train AI, so keeping it hidden or ideally offline is something I’m trying to do.

Anyway, there other reasons as well…but I don’t want to bore you.

Basically it’s just another of buying some art or music from me if you’re interested.

I was sure how to price stuff so thought that food and drink options might make sense.

A coffee a month – €3.50

If you’re willing to buy me a coffee a month for a year I’ll get a unique bit of framed art or print to you sometime during the next 12 months. You’ll be able to access a page with framed art already listed, just choose one and I’ll post it off to you.
If there isn’t anything there you fancy I’m planning to keep adding new stuff during the year.

I’m not sure what exactly…all I know is that I’ll keep drawing and stuff.
But here’s some examples. They usually measure about 5 x 7in as I doodle them in my sketchbook when I’m out and about.

I’m also hoping to try and record some music . So maybe access to some exclusive tunes or with a one of a kind CD cover?

Here are some examples. They measure about 8 x 10in or A4 framed, or the larger maps will come rolled up in a postal tube.

A Pizza a Month | €10

If you’re willing to buy me a pizza a month I’ll get a unique bit of art to you sometime during the next 12 months.

If you’re interested in getting a more detailed, bigger map (like bigger than A3) made of somewhere like a town or something with a bit of research and are in no hurry this might suit you.
Other possibilities might be some bigger artwork or posters, maybe an A – Z of a football team or beer.
