Eat around the world and this jar of pickled cucumber 🥒 is supposed to be for Suriname,
…well according to the recipe in a book I have, I Googled a bit and seen some stuff cucumber pickle but am not going to claim it’s pure Surinamese cuisine.

Suriname was a Dutch colony so a large % of the population are descendants of people from India and Java in Indonesia…not sure if that is the link, I can imagine this going with some nasi goreng.
I didn’t leave this to pickle as I’m hungry, it was. 👍 already. More pickles this year
